SIP enhances support for young talents to make innovations and start their own businesses |

SIP hosted a conference on Mar 14 with the aim of encouraging young talents to make innovations and start their own businesses and improving local living conditions for them.
At the event, SIP announced a three-year (2025-2027) action plan which comprises a series of incentives for young talents to engage in innovations and business operations in SIP. The “Youth Entrepreneurship Fund Group” was established, with a fund of RMB1 billion from Oriza Holdings and other investors for investment in young talents’ startup projects in different stages. Ten projects received investments from the fund on site.
Additionally, 10 young people received the “housing coupons”. Under the relevant policy, a talent who does not own a house in SIP and has paid into the social insurance fund in SIP for at least six months can get a “housing coupon” of RMB70,000 to 250,000 based on academic degree for buying a house from the designated residential quarters. |
Ten youth innovation and entrepreneurship bases were designated. Together with the Youth Venture Platform, they provide policy advice, services for project registration, financing and operation as well as settling-in services for young talents.
